What is Parkinson's Disease?

Parkinson's disease is a debilitating, progressive motor-neuron disease which has no definite group of symtoms. Every person suffering from PD experiences it differently.

Some of the main symptoms of Parkinson's Disease include one or more of the following:
▪ Shaking or tremor at rest.
▪ Slowness of movement, called bradykinesia.
▪ Stiffness or rigidity of the arms, legs or trunk.
▪ Trouble with balance and falls, also called postural instability.
▪ Depression, anxiety, irritability
▪ Sleep disorders
▪ Speech and swallowing problems
